Really good, this is the combo I am working towards and this some of best stuff I have seen with it. Superb

Whenever I'm in doubt, awaiting my Pulsar 23 to be shipped and already having placed the order, I come here. And I know it's the right choice instead of cancelling it to get 4 other synths for the same price ;) Great track...

Great video!! Inspiring, I just got a Deluge and I love how easy it is for sequencing and performing, on the preorder list for a Pulsar as well.

Thanks. Have fun with it! It's a brilliant pairing with the Pulsar-23

Brilliant track, intricate, nice builds and breakdowns, great sounds!:)

Thank you. I think I've found a sweet spot with this and the Deluge that's allowing me to channel the music of my youth. Just enough control and structure combined with just enough things to tweak and play with. Proper good fun to be had 🙂

Thanks, still getting a feel for what it can do sonically, but I love it so far

Reminds me of early Aphex Twin tunes, with that broken beat and that beautiful melodies. Make a remix and throw some more distortion into the mix. That would be a perfect antidote for the sweetness ;)
@Jimantronic4 жыл бұрын
Thank you. That would be great. It's something I need to work on a solution for to create a breakdown. I can do it afterwards in Bitwig, but it would be great to find a good way of glitchy mashing everything up on the fly as part of a performance

@@Jimantronic No glitches needed ;) Do you know his »Classics« album? I meant tracks like »Dodeccaheedron« and »Isopropanol« - The other ones are quite extreme. www.discogs.com/The-Aphex-Twin-Classics/master/2482

Very nice interplay between the two units. Are you thinking of passing C.V. from the Deluge to the Pulsar-23, seems like even more possibilities open up.
@Jimantronic4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, yeah, that's the plan. So there's 4 extra midi to cv converters on the pulsar as well as the midi learns on each channel, plus the 2 CV and 4 gate outputs on the Deluge too, so that's loads of control! It's such a great pairing and it's been an absolute breeze to set up. Pulsar is an amazingly well thought out bit of kit with so many options, I'm well impressed.

Does the pulsar goes inside the deluge to make audio processing ? Dis you recorded on separate tracks or did you make the choice of handling one stereo track ?
@Jimantronic4 жыл бұрын
Hi, yeah the output from Pulsar to input of Deluge. There's not really audio processing in this track, just recording into 1 stereo track. It's not ideal for making changes and mixing, but it's quick and easy to do.

i’m actually thinking of selling my TR8s to get the Pulsar instead. i have an OT too so think the roland is kinda redundant
@Jimantronic4 жыл бұрын
Yeah the Pulsar and TR8 are very different beasts indeed!

I really like hardcore music but people like you make me get stuck on ambient constantly. And also make me want a pulsar... But i JUST bought the deluge so it'll be a while.

I can highly recommend the Board of Deluge sound packs by the way, so many great sounds available. The Deluge synth engine is way more capable than most people realise
