And that's exactly why we can;t innovate our way out of trouble. Every solution will create new problems, and the number problems are finite. By implication, so are the solutions. Sustainability is a myth.

Jack Bongo true, 100% agree, and if we don’t act on issues such as global warming, it will lead to our demise. It’s selfishness, yes it’s human nature but as long as we are about our own happiness, we won’t make it to end of this century if we don’t listen to the scientist and the issues there addressing. It’s nice to have these things like steak and phones, but we also we need to at the same time, not destroy our planet.

In my first apartment, stored in the basement of the building, was an old wooden ice box. It had a metal pan in the bottom that had a drainpipe and tap for the water that came from the melting ice. It seemed well made and appeared to still be functional, but the World had changed and refrigeration reduced the labor required to keep ones food cold and that is presumably what caused this piece to be relegated to the basement.

@Nicholas Olesen science has become a religion. There is deeper meanings beyond the natural, until you understand that you think only of the temporal things, Jesus is eternal, when you look at Him you see eternity. John 3:16 Some people actually do appreciate what I'm saying so don't lie.
@criminaltotheworld3154

@Nicholas Olesen the universe has a beginning making it limited to time and space. God who is out of eternity is constantly reaching out to His creation. I'm not a debater but a herald of another kingdom not of this world or galaxy.. The good news of hope, rather than the hopeless news of an end. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. I understand but Pan is a devil, and He bows to Jesus. And ALL belongs to God..
