I don't MIND the animation, but I much preferred Carl Sagan's original style of using real-life people who don't even gesture spoken words, as Sagan would narrate their presumed spoken words. Don't know why, I just thought it was a better way of delivering the story.

The article I've read implied that the family had died after interacting with the researchers, since their immune system wasn't strong enough to deal with it.. or something like that. But I remember that the son could walk barefoot in snow so apparently, they did develop some pretty impressive feats by living out there 😂 Hey, that's what it said in the article at least

At 1:43​, it reminded me of the exponential spread of coronavirus infections worldwide. It seems that the bigger the population gets, the more serious the problems become because of humans' overwhelming power of greed and self-indulgence. IMO, it's phony to say that you're for the environment but not for limiting the growth of population and immigration.
