the update from app worked even before. maybe you never tried. they only added a point in the menu of the camera from where you can start the update process, where before you had to long press the disp button on startup. but thats for updating via sd card..

I own the Z8, Z9, and the Fuji X-T5.. The Fuji jpegs are superior to Nikon's IMO. I just updated my X-T5's firmware, which I hope improves the inconsistent AF. I tend to shoot jpegs with my X-T5 and RAW with my Nikons.

@FramesTM Yes, I do. The dynamic range with this camera is excellent! The problem with Fuji RAW files is that Adobe doesn't support their RAW files nearly as well as Nikon's. Capture One is the best platform for editing Fuji RAW files, but I like Adobe. Edited Fuji RAW files with Adobe RAW or Lightroom have "wormy" artifacts in them. This is a real problem. The X-Tran sensor images are not a good match for Adobe. Nikon's NEF files are easy to edit in the Adobe platform.

Which one is better auto focus? Xt5 or zf? Also which one are you gonna recommend for everyday use xt5 or zf?

Zf, I have both. That said, the XT5 is totally usable and sometimes excellent. If you decide between those two, don't make autofocus a criterion.

For what it's worth, I have both a zf and a x-t4 that I love dearly. The zf has the best autofocus I have ever used personally. That being said, I enjoy using the x-t4 more just based on size and weight. The af isn't nearly as good, but its still good. The zf af is almost to a point where you don't even have to think about it. Idk if that helps, but just my 2 cents.

@@FramesTM lol after watching his video the other day, I was a little surprised to say the least. I am not sure what people want anymore to be honest. Anything released in the last 5 years is more than good enough for anything I am doing and I would wager, the majority of us. I don't want to speak for anyone though, as we all have our own special use cases.
