Agreed - although I'll take solace in both the spring and summer having greens. Last year we didn't get many greens at all! Ashton was a surprise hit for me - I didn't expect to like it so much!

I’m still undecided. The thing about Zoya is even the shades I don’t like are still beautiful. I don’t want any of those reds or purples so possibly the first three and the last three are the ones I’d purchase. My favorites are Vesper and Eliot. I like blues that still look blue not black. Overall, a little disappointed because I really wanted a true burnt orange and a mustard yellow.

You're not alone in that! They usually do sales in September if I'm remembering correctly so if this isn't a full collection you want to pick up you won't have to wait too long!

I really like all the colors! I just wish that this year any of the brands go a little outside the box. Ive seen so many red, pink and purple polishes this year that there running together.

I asked Zoya to create a metallic dark olive green sort of like their Edyta, but Edyta is too grey. I want a metallic dark olive green with more brown undertones.They said they would. I'm still waiting. Maybe winter 2020???? I'm excited about Etta. Love those kind of shades. ❤️💅👍

Great review!! Have to say Im a little disappointed with this collection as I was last fall too, although I love both blue shades 💙💙. I like all of these colors. However, I feel I have a dupe for everyone of them in my stash. Between my Opi, Essie and China Glaze polishes I already own these same colors. I wasn't wowed with this collection.

That's fair! I think especially if you have a large collection some of these are dupeable! Right now Zoya is the only large mainstream brand I collect so I often forget that OPI or CG may have made similar shades!

Walker, I just adore your reviews! As for the collection I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed. I too would have loved to see more “true” fall colors! Mustard, pumpkin orange, burnt orange, & green. Colors one can wear on Halloween & Thanksgiving. To me this collection leans more winter holiday.

The first half of this collection does nothing for me since I don't understand nude polishes and already have plenty of reds from Zoya. However I am all about the rest of them! I preordered the Holo Taco set this morning and I bet they would look gorgeous over Vesper and Elliot.

Hi Lisa, I agree on the neutrals!! How in the heck does ANYbody find one that is flattering to their skintone? Whether you are pale, yellow-undertoned, dark, or anything in between... It just seems like you'd have to try so many to find what you're looking for. And then, guess what: they're boring on the nail!! I know there are work-appropriate restrictions in place for many people (I'm so glad I'm not one of them!!), but... I do have a couple of pale pink or lilac type shades from ILNP that have holo in them, and I count those as my "neutrals" -- but with a little sparkle.

@@cat_623 I'm lucky that I can wear whatever color I want. I guess if I couldn't, I would wear neutrals or nudes. Not generally a fan of tan/brown/peachy colors though. I do love Zoya Tomoko which is a champagne color but at it has lots of sparkle!

My last favorite fall collection from Zoya was the urban grunge collection, in fact that whole year 2016 had great collections. I like Etta, the deep blue, and the terra-cotta. But in my opinion I think terra-cotta should be more of a clay orangey color. I also wish they released a mustard, tawny, more greens, and something similar to Rory ( ok that was random lol)

I do too. Sometimes comparisons across brands are even more helpful because that's where you'll find true dupes. As you've said, Zoya probably doesn't make actual dupes within their own brand but there are always those that come close. That's why I enjoy the Zoya comparisons. They tell you if you already have something close, you may not need the other.

I’m really liking about half of this collection but I’ll probably get the whole collection if the preorder deal is good. The second half is the better half to be honest. Although I really like how the reds are definitely creams and not jellies. So many reds are marketed as creams but are definitely jellies (like Ming). As for creativeness this collection doesn’t score very high, the China Glaze fall collection is more creative with a good variety of finishes and colors in my opinion. But overall I like the look of this collection. TFS
