Y'know back 5 years ago I wondered what year 10 of this game would have in store. Would it be the same 8 new operators with a couple new maps and the rest reworks? Would the game even still be alive then? Would we get a sequel? Or maybe would they go all out with a boatload of content to celebrate. Never did I expect that the most likely option would be a new map (5% chance), 2 - 1 new operator's, maybe some new guns, basic balancing as a "main feature", and a half eaten pack of gum.

I’ve genuinely lost all optimism with Ubisoft and Siege. My expectations are 1: More monetization 2: Less content overall 3: A single new character 4: No new guns (maybe 1 if we’re lucky) 5: Reruns of past events 6: More lackluster battlepasses (that’s how they’ve been trending) All these guesses are based on Siege’s downward content trend over the last 3 years. Sad really. I’m a Y1S1 veteran, and this slow trend toward mediocrity is disappointing.

Biggest gripe that I have with Siege is that they dropped all PVE content. Build upon the old T-hunt mode. Would’ve been cool to have seen a Ready or Not style mode with improved AI. Neutralize or arrest hostiles, diffuse bombs, rescue hostages, collect and secure intel etc. Multiple objectives in each mission. Allowing you to play both Attackers & Defenders collaborating together

I bought this game day one and I have over 5000 hours on it. I am satisfied with the content and I've gotten my money's worth. The only things I buy are battlepasses most of the time and thats it. I've never bought any of elites cause those are just straight up cash grabs and so is the membership. At this point I'm just not even gonna bother giving them any more money because of how greedy these mf's have gotten. Im just glad this game has made it this far, not a lot of games can say that.

For Y10 there are leaks. We know op code name is curtain and will work well with sens. Is male ajd from New Zealand and is an attacker. Additionally, it’s rock/plant themed We know new elites are coming paragon/arcana elite. Come with animated background, unique inspect weapon animation and unique reload animation We know of a new game mode called patriot. 6v6 game mode instead of the normal 5v5. Idk how the game survived in ubis care. All of Y9 has had less content than a single Fortnite mid season update. Operator remasters don’t need a whole season to itself. How hard was it to give BB a shield. Every remaster map has been so ass. Half the maps aren’t in the ranked pool. I love the game so much so it hurts to see how half ass each update has been. No more map reworks. Just small changes to maps. Tearing down a map and rebuilding it from the ground up has been horrible for comp and casual players.

Honestly, I think we need a new rainbow six siege 2. Now, maybe not as a separate game as a self button update to the original game. With so little content in here nine and with all the extra resources I’ve been putting into something else. It would be better to have those resources in rainbow siege 2 and have a new anti-cheat new graphics, new lighting, maybe bring back the night mass and be able to patch bugs, faster, deploy, new mechanics, balancing to operators, etc. We could get a lot more content and bug fixes if we had a rainbow six siege 2. That is what I’m hoping for.

the only reason they would move to a 2nd game would be for a new engine. And the current engine is fine, they aren't limited by it. A new game would mean 2-3 years of nothing, it's not without risk.

😂Would be amazing if for the 10th anniversary we got a wide variety of new guns. Theres been a whole slew of new developments in firearms since 2015 and we only get recycled versions of 1980 - Early 2000s weapons. Getting the MPX, MP5, MP7 on our 50th operator is getting old. I would love for Siege to add environmental effects. Say you're attaching/defending, and you see a fire hydrant. You could shoot it, and it acts as a smoke cutting off a line of sight. This would allow for you to advance on a target or retreat in cover. But it adds a real-world tactical. It would be interesting to have.

Operator idea: throw a gadget on floors/ceilings which will spread (like Gridlock) bulletproof material and act as a reinforcement. It can be destroyed only by explosives/Sledge/Ram. However, to destroy it, it must be hit 2 times at the exact spot (similar to how Azami barriers are destroyed after knifing multiple times). A Ram gadget can only destroy the floor if it rams the same trajectory 2 times. Or a Sledge must hit the floor 2 times on the same area etc.

We'll here's the recepie for it anyways: Having the correct balance of fuel and oxidizer is key to having a stable burn in a thermite reaction. The thermite recipe for red iron oxide and aluminum is 3 parts iron oxide red to 1 part aluminum fuel. In pyrotechnic compositions the finer the ingredients and more well mixed they are, generally the easier it is to ignite, and the faster the reaction will progress. So our goals in selecting thermite ingredients are ease of ignition and a stable, non-explosive burn. For this example, we are using Skylighter's -325 mesh red iron oxide and Skylighter's -325 mesh bright aluminum, which has an average particle size of 45 microns. Thermite#1 Mixture Ingredient Parts by Wt. Parts by % Red iron oxide -325 mesh 3 75 Aluminum flake -325 mesh 1 25 Total 100% To make a 4 ounce batch of thermite, first weigh out 3 ounces of red iron oxide. Then weigh out 1 ounce of aluminum powder. Dump them into a plastic tub, and put the top on. Shake them until the color is consistent throughout. Then pass the mix through a 20-mesh or finer screen. If there are any clumps break them up with your fingers. Screen the mix two more times, or more, until you have a uniformly colored powder. Note: Using a 40-mesh or finer screen will make the mix much easier to ignite. This can be a dusty process, so be sure and do it an area where the aluminum dust will not cause a problem. Do not try this where air is moving. The better you mix the ingredient, the faster and hotter the reaction will be. Thermite needs a very high temperature to ignite it. What I really miss is the actual content of the game. What I always loved most about a new season was the sense of renewal in the game - a new map, new skins, a new operator, big reworks, you name it. In 2024, I feel like we haven’t been spoiled at all. In fact, it feels like they’re just trying to take money from us (sure, you don’t have to buy it, but still). For example, I think the battle pass + membership is complete nonsense. Back in the day, you had a year pass, and that was it. I really hope 2025 will be an amazing year, where they actually do something about cheaters and release loads of new content.

My autistic son, that doesn't own a mouse and keyboard mysteriously got "mousetrapped" He is on a PS4. I play with him on my Xbox. Now, we get put in the PC pool. Ubisoft definitely needs a new anti cheat! Being in the pc pool, I see so many people cheating and this kid gets penalized and doesn't even own any mouse and keyboard or any external peripherals to boost his game play.

Try to plug out the plugged in devices and test if the mouse trapp still triggers. My friends headset was detected as a device, and if he plugged it out, the mouse trap wasnt triggered. I hope this can help you too

There's a lot of talk about the content in Siege nowdays, and I think a big issue it that no one is happy either way. People are still saying the "We used to get 2 operators every season" tirade. Honestly, I'm fine with less operators. 2 unique operators that feel grounded and fair every season for 10 years, isn't really the most realistic expectation. Personally, I would be fine with less content, if what we got was actually good. We get less operators, less maps, fine, I can deal with it. But then we also just get recycled game modes, recolors of old skins and just more ways to monetize the already limited content that's put out. That's what feels insulting to me.

Approaching 1 year clean quitting siege, but its always nice to stay up to date. Free to play would suck for siege since it drops the barrier for cheaters, which would be a massive issue. Plus f2p would shift the business model to fully live service, not that it already isn't, which means even more battle pass slop that I've seen in the past 2 or 3 years worth of battle passes. It would be funny if the engine update brought back the darker, smokier ambiance of early siege (and night maps) although the pros would never stop complaining about it so that's unlikely to happen. I wonder how siege will adapt to the seeming bursting of the live service model bubble, will they focus in on more quality, premium updates (potentially alienating the more frugal playerbase) or will they slide towards just being cs2 with destruction and strip away any story for crates, knife skins, and premium premium extra premium everyone will glaze you elite skins?

Am I alone or is the story and lore the most worthless piece of the game? For a game that literally doesn't even have a story mode, I just can't care about a story that has literally nothing to do with gameplay or broadly speaking, the game as a whole. I personally would much rather not get a cinematic tell me about who doesn't like who and instead see new guns, maps/map reworks, limited time events/modes, or better gun skins (I mean how many times does my soul need to be crushed by a super basic "gold" Alpha pack).
