What's surprising about this exposè when illegal mining is common across South Africa with the so-called "Zama Zamas" wreaking havoc wherever they ply their illegal business? To me this particular episode isn't surprising because I live less than 100km from this particular area and we've heard of such tales and the authorities' inability to stop this practice. 🤷‍♂️
