As someone who has a fleet in a can build themselves, the dps can stack up pretty fast if you are able to spam fleet support every 2 mins as I am able to do

I did a similar " never fly alone fleet summoner" build on my Sci Jem'Hadar toon and his Jem'Hadar Vanguard carrier. I can summon 4 Jem Dreadnought cruisers (2 photonic), have my 2 wingmen plus another 2 from the Jem'Hadar Support Frigate pets. Then a hangar with an Alliance fighter squadron. And the Delta distress call summons another 3 bug ships. And last but not least my detachable Jem'Hadar war ship pet which synergizes very well with the Hydra trait and is the main damage boost for my entire fleet, plus the Flagship computer. With so many pets, the Hydra console clicky is quite powerful also. It's a "death by a thousand cuts" build, focusing on crowd control with a strong Gravity Well and Scramble Sensors, debuffing enemies and buffing teammates and summons. It's completed by a full Tholian Tetryon set BO build and the recent event Maelstrom torpedo to create team buffs. It's quite effective, even though its DPS is only mediocre at around 200k because of the relatively low CritH and CritD. But additional to Subnuc, my hangar pets can put Focused Assault 3 and Suppression Barrage 3 on an enemy. So it's a build that's useful in pretty much all content and only struggles a bit in Elite TFOs due to being a squishy carrier.

12:01 there's also Formation Flying from the Deimos Pilot Destroyer, that summons 2 pilot frigates every time you use a distress call. Also, maybe that Black Alert trait would do more damage if it bugged out for you and summoned the 20 odd ships like it does whenever I don't need them Cool build, don't go mad with power please

Does the Deimos trait only work on the distress call beacons or does it also work with Fleet Support? Because the beacons trigger a shared cooldown with it.

I so wish they would just break down and let us have a full dreadnaught carrier variant of the Oddy, the precident is already there since we've got the lexington model with the pod on it that can eadily be replaced with the Monitor's carrier pod. I would buy it in a heartbeat and slap so many hanger consoles on it......

I love how they look but I feel like we have enough Odyssey variants... copying ships over and over with minimal changes just feels lazy by Cryptic. I know this will be an unpopular opinion... but I think the same of the Terran ships xD

Just sorry again about the console you couldn’t use and that ship you couldn’t buy for temporal ally it would have been much better than black alert and the red shield disappears quickly least it would be up to 3 more oddys (yes 3 don’t ask I don’t know why but mine bugged and spawned more than 1) but I’m glad the other personal space trait helped anyway ❤

I was going to suggest using Particle Synthesizer from the Dauntless, which would have fit the theme PERFECTLY were it not for the fact that it is bound to the 3 Dauntless's. I'm sure Stu doesn't mind

yeah for "black alert" to be really good you have to use a Torp build. It does way better damage on torp builds

Additionally, if you do this as a science officer, you get access to Photonic Fleet, which IIRC has a chance to spawn in Oddys.

It can? I thought Photonic Fleet could only summon battlecruisers like the Sovereign or the Presidio at most, not flagships.

The Inquiry showing up is a bug. Both it and the California can sometimes appear in the Fed and Terran critter groups in place of the cruisers they're supposed to be.

Huh, today in "weirdly exactly what I needed" I guess - I have a char who, while not trying to summon Odysseys specifically, IS trying to summon as many allied ships as possible via Fleet Support. Handy!

Do the copies also have a hanger and associated pets? Are they hangerless? or are the pets not the ones you're equipped.

The summoned Odysseys do not have hangar pets of their own. Any hangar pets you're seeing come from my (the player) ship. I used the Typhon's trait in the updated version of this build for additional Valkyrie pets kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKKxiKR3rdFkfdUsi=LW5g71YPB9e3oZLY

Yeah, but that was a ground build. Totally different set of doffs for space, and I couldn't find any that spawn additional ships or further buff Fleet Support.

Why not add the tripler cilinder? I use it to copy any ship I`m flying (spawning 3 maxxed Krenim Dreahoughts or Herald Dreads are a sight to behold ^^)

Cuthbert, You're thinking of the Manheim Device (2 duplicate summons), not the Tipler Cylinder (Temporal Backstep clicky)

Would the console off of the La'Serena spawn more oddy's? I know it spawns 9 holo ships. I just can't remember if they are duplicates of your ship or not.

I know it'd be a pain to rework this on a science character but I think Photonic fleet has the chance of summoning an extra 2 Odysseys

It doesn't. It can summon the Sovereign, but not Odysseys. Thought I do think Photonic Fleet would add to the theme of the build, but yeah, getting all this together on a science toon would be a huge pain. I think I have one at level 65, but I haven't touched it in years.

That's actually a bug. The California and Inquiry class ships can sometimes appear in place of other cruisers from the Federation and Terran Empire critter groups.

2 Min then you apply damage boosts to the summons and end up with a bunch of Odysseys doing 100k+ damage. Its a great build.
