That's what I love about this game.. it's so simple and there isn't alot of complicated strategies or anything. There's a few basic fundamentals that when applied, can make anyone an excellent player.

You are correct is is definitely more simple than some of the other rts games out there.

I've been watching a lot of content lately, especially from the likes of AOD. One thing that is definitely hampering your game (and I've noticed for a while) is you scroll between going to your base and wherever the battle is and it's losing you a LOT of time. I've got a new mouse (Logitech G G502 X) and it has all sorts of buttons on for setting up hot keys. Thumb buttons you can use for `select all` extra two buttons right next to the left click that you just slightly move your index finger to press and even the mouse wheel can be clicked left and right with your middle finger! I have `home` as left click mouse wheel and `stop` for right click mouse wheel. I've been practicing a lot and have the two buttons next to the left click bound to `1` and `2` so I can group two sets of Tanks and go to them by double pressing either button to jump to that group. A flick of my index finger on the mouse wheel take me back to my base to place a new building then jump straight back to the Tanks using `1` or `2`, it's MUCH faster than scrolling and you lose far less Tanks. Once I get used to doing this more I'm going to look into using some of the other mouse buttons to set map positions or use as `shift+1` and `shift+2` to more easily add Tanks to groups 1 or 2. I still prefer using a Radar though to quickly jump to different positions. Something to maybe think about mate. 👍👍

Zack doesn't use group hotkeys, he's probably not going to set that up.

I played this game so much back in the day.. I just bought it again on Steam, however, everything is so big on the screen, it's hard to get any overview of the playing field. I noticed you have a more zoomed out field? What game version are you using? thanks!

I am using the command and conquer remastered collection. I use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

How do you send tanks over to the area in which you are attacking once they come out of the war factory?

Set up a 'hot key' for 'select all units'. Then just keep tapping that hotkey every 10 secs or so to keep your forces moving to where you are fighting.

what david said but the inbuilt hot key is shift plus `a` .
