Command & Conquer gameplay (PC Game, 1995)

A replay of the classic Command and Conquer. Going through the first three missions as GDI agains NOD. Still playing nowadays, aiming to complete it, of course.
Played through Dosbox emulation platform.
Recorded with full original sound.

I played the games many times over the years, first time when it was brand new, boxed and all. I am not sure if I ever finished it back then, but I definitely finished both campaigns recently, last year I think, for my twitch streams. I played the remastered version which thankfully was a good remaster and I have to say the gameplay is still to this day very good. Glad to see you enjoying this. Happy gaming.

I never played this game as a kid, because it was rated MA for violence. So, I missed out until the third instalment came out. And with the remastered collection on Steam, I was able to finally try out the original for myself. And after some trial and error on the easy difficulty, I was able to work out how to play it. Thank goodness EA didn't screw this up and I can play it on my Steam Deck!

I am replaying it in these days because I never had a full version back in time. Only a demo which I think I played one million time. I had later played Red Alert, but always wanted to finish the original first episode :)

That music though 😍. My first introduction to CNC was at a friend's house, I fell in love with it. Later, I bought Red Alert for my Dads PC. But it wasn't until 2007 when CNC3 came out that I bought the entire collection on disc and played CNC through. Yet I don't think I ever played Generals, the 3D one. I tried RA3 but couldn't get into it, and CNC4 I was so excited to buy... And didn't play past the tutorial. Utter trash 😅.

Massive Assault is turn based and possibly much harder too. I never finished Massive Assault, but I remember it turned very difficulty very quickly. Good game though.
