@@facelessman9224 I'm looking at their financials. Turning a profit this year. Last year too. The year they didn't turn a profit is because they didn't release any games because of delays. You know they are a publicly traded company yeah and reviewing their financial information is very easy to do. There is also inflation to deal with which causes a slump in consumption of entertainment. All entertainment industries expected a lower return due to inflationary effects, which happened. Lets look at share prices and release schedules though. Share prices started to spike after for honor (online no story), goes a bit higher after just dance (really targeting thevmale demographic there). Dropped after breakpoint (their most "manly" game i can think of, especially how your side love to put it in higher regard than it actually is), went up with another just dance and odyssey (a game whose canon protagonist is the female one, and that has bunch of dlc). Dropped after immortals (basically assassins creed meets breath of the wild). They are a publicly traded company. They operate on making small gains quickly, which is why they release sequels on a routine. They don't operate on being clandestine and sending messages. Lol. All a shareholder cares about is return on investment so they just need to keep curning out content. If they go private that would allow for more personalised messaging as they operate far differently. However all their history will tell them that they should be sticking to online garbage, dancing games and running with MTs. I'm trying to work out how their drop in share prices have anything to do with some sort of "propaganda". All stories have some sort of message in it, that's why we tell stories. Just because you don't like the message doesn't make it propaganda. The reasons equality comes up more often now is that it's topical. Just like global warming came up more often early 2000, anti war in the 70s, nuclear war during the cold war. Themes are topical with the stories at the time because that's how you get your audience to relate. And you guys focus on the weirdest things. Inconsequential background male character of the past "night, I'm off to have dinner with my wife". You never heard "omg we don't need to know what they are doing", "why do we need to know they have a wife", etc. Now it's inconsequential background male character of the past "night, I'm off to have dinner with my husband" and you head "omg why do we need to know this", "totally woke propganda" when all it is is doing the same thing but adding the variety that you come across in life.
