You can only use CD command to move between directories within the same drive. If you want to access to a directory on another drive, you should add /d switch. The command line above should be cd /d d:\Docs\Java. If you type this command and hit Enter, it will change to the correct directory now

I am using two different version of minecraft. I want one version to have its own separate modifications and the other version to have separate ones too, but the problem is, both forge version look for the folder mods for its modifications if I understood it correctly, so I can't use separate mods without constantly switching the files. So if I used this, would making one version of forge change directory to a different folder work when looking for modifications to make? Sorry if I was hard to understand I'm still a bit new to coding and hopefully you know what I mean by forge.
