Both of the Sliver players were so focused on trying to counter the exile, they overlooked their ability to sacrifice to evade (dump the slivers into the graveyard for later recursion), but the hosts reminded them, and allowed them to retcon after the fact. It probably won't end up mattering in this game, but it's still good sportsmanship and I love it.

@@ThePeckishFox Hibernation sliver gives slivers Pay 2 life: return sliver to hand. Morophon makes the 5 color slivers free to cast. So for every 2 life he returns to hand and then re-cast that sliver and it has cascade from First sliver. If the cascade hits slivers, they have cascade as well.

A couple of small corrections, for the future: mirari’s wake adds a color the land produced, not a color it COULD produce, and when you cascade for a value that’s not in your deck, you have to shuffle afterwards. Neither would have really affected the outcome of the game in this case, and it’s the kind of small mistake that’s everyone makes from time to time, but I figured I’d share so people know for next time.

Regal Behemoth adds *any* color. Mirari's Wake adds any color that land *could* produce, meaning if you have a land that could tap for red or green you can tap it for red and then add green with the Wake ability; which is what they meant by "mix and match".

Lore fun fact; the traditional slivers wete actually collected from a world they natively infested and was then experimented on by Volrath. The M14 slivers were the natural advancement of sliver evolution if left unaltered. Also the traditional slovers were later dumped in a volcano when two worlds collided, and sometime after that a think tabk called the Riptide project resurrected the traditional slivers which is why those are the ones we still have on Dominaria today. Also, the queen/lord is quite intelligent and can feel empathy or be bargained/reasoned with, they actually have strong family values. Their hivemind is suppose to be like a song. The current swarms on Dominaria lack a queen or hivelord, which is why they seem a bit feral.

The only case in which you get another color of your choice is with lands like the bounce lands; in that case you tap for (let's say) RB and can choose wether to add RBB o RRB.

Yes, it's the best unexpected thing that happened in MtG in the last 5 years. ^^ They also managed to get new art for every relevant M14 Sliver with the only exception being Thorncaster Sliver. I wish they had given Thorncaster Sliver new art and not Spiteful Sliver. It only came out in Modern Horizons and I like the original art more.

To be fair to those who are ridiculous in their thinking that this show might be "scripted", they are likely claiming that the final outcome and "plot points" are scripted similar to WWE/professional wrestling. Since we do not see your hands at all time, you all could conceivably cut the cameras, tutor what you need for the plot point to occur, then proceed as if nothing happened. No idea why anyone would do any of this as it wouldn't be fun, but it would be plausible to "script" a game without it being as complex as you all are implying. All that aside, I have fed the algorithm. As always, Olivia and her interactions with others makes this show so fun to watch. Fun that you were able to get Dr. Lupo back.

For Prof's question at 45:35 (getting flash from an opponent effect), my favorite group hug card, Tidal Barracuda. the only issue is he isn't flash himself. There is also Quick Sliver, but from the fact it is a sorcery he was looking to cast, i don't think it would've helped.

Tidal Barracuda can give your opponents spells flash, but the other person would ALSO have to have an instant speed enabler (something like Alchemist's Refuge) to give the Barracuda flash as well :)

@Commamderathome: Just wanted to give you two powerful cards for the Will deck: Well of Lost Dreams, and Words of Worship. Of the two, Words of Worship is better than the Well, because you can pay 1 to replace a card draw with gaining 5 life -- which, with Will, reduces your spells all by 5. The Well is just synergistic because as long as you have mana, you can pay 1 mana to draw a card anytime you gain life.

I remember Prof being forced out of playing Slivers in another game where he ended up playing THRUN and made it a spectacle in the THRUNDERDOME ... now we've seen two recent games where he was allowed to pick slivers... and dang, that deck whiffed every time xD
