You know what I find crazy about Game Knights? I don't play Magic the gathering at all. I've never bought a single card and i still don't fully get how the rules work. But I've never missed an episode because no KZbin series makes me feel like I'm hanging out with some buddies on a Saturday night nerding out like this does. So a heartfelt thank you to everyone from the Commandzone from a longtime fan who can't always keep up with whats going on but tries his best and enjoys every second. CHEERS!

I LOVED the voice acting on the "yarr" there. like it isnt a regular pirate yarr but it has that vampire tone in it. it sounds mischevious, dark and almost mocking. the voice acting accurately gives the feeling of a vampire who somehow snuck into the pirate crew, and is working with them with his own hidden schemes, not to mention how good it fits the art of the card. I know this is a weird thing to point out maybe, but I just wanted to say incredible job on that bit of voice acting there

At 1:03:45, the Stroke of Midnight isn't actually countered - the enchantment is indestructible, it doesn't have hexproof via Boros Charm, so the Stroke would still resolve and Jimmy would get the 1/1 token.

@@sabertooth509 Nothing on Stroke of Midnight says the permanent has to be destroyed in order for the token to be created. The enchantment is still a legal target for the Stroke when it resolves, even if it's indestructible, and when the spell resolves, we do as much as possible. The enchantment isn't destroyed since the permanent is indestructible, but Jimmy still creates the token, even if it's not destroyed. If it had to be destroyed it would be worded like "Destroy target nonland permanent. *If that permanent was destroyed this way*, that permanent's controller creates a 1/1 token".

@@sabertooth509 The rule in general is that effects do as much as they can do. The effect does two things: destroy the enchantment and create a token. It can't destroy the enchantment, then sure, it doesn't do that. But it creates the token. (On the other hand, if the enchantment had hexproof, the spell wouldn't resolve. That's not "because it cannot destroy the enchantment" - it's because there's a rule that says that, if a spell has targets, and none of the spell's targets are legal targets when it resolves, it doesn't resolve. Note that they simply have to be legal, not reasonable: you can target an indestructible enchantment because nothing says you can't, even if the effect won't do anything useful.)
