my tips to beat him. the charge that you have a hard time dodging, run to the side and dodge while running rather than forward dodging. also when he jumps up in the air, its very easy to dodge him as he comes down and gives you a few very easy free hits while he is recovering from his fall.

Beat him first try, ng+11, level 1 with +25 shortsword, no summons. Wasn't hard, good trolling.
