Yeah it certainly did a lot of work for Kovacs! Paying the 1 a handful of times throughout the game didn’t do much to slow that down. Too bad no one had a kill spell

Braidds gave a lot of draws too. Kovacs just had a fire game. Chris and Kyle were almost non factors so it was BK vs Kovacs really with Kovacs having a stronger tempo

I have a Braids too in a "Death for the Economy" deck I have built (Mahadi Emporium Master + Make Everything Die to get me treasures which I use to keel more things) - when you have her as your commander what is your strategy and what do you have for the "I win" cards?

I think there was a misunderstanding of rules, with voidwalker out, none of the creatures would die because they are exiled instead, so elias and any other death trigger wouldnt go off

Hey love the video! I'm thinking of building a Elas aristocrats deck right now, so I was happy to see it go off so well. I was wondering does Elas's death triggers still work through Dauthi Voidwalker because it is a replacement effect? I don't think any of those creatures actually hit the graveyard.

Actually, after reading the oracle text for Dauthi voidwalker it looks like tokens still die. Therefore the life drain triggers still happened. That said, voidwalker has shadow so it shouldn’t have been able to block in the first place! 🤦🏻
