Ok but hear me out. Having four Shea in one game would be glorious but it would need a Craterhoof counter because I can only imagine the number of hooves coming down in such a match. (It would also be entirely appropriate for Shea to beat Shea with the Craterhoof combo before Blake can.)

That was some awesome wheel spinning cgb, lol. Great showing by everyone, esp cgb and Blake. Blake was so close to winning this. The sweeper/rift turn was crucial to resetting him, and he still almost pulled it off.

Couple of things. 1. Gina is amazing, especially when she gets spicy. 2. Blake is in fact gorgeous. 3. CGB is gross lol. Great game play, appreciate the time and effort by this group! One of my favorite commander shows.

At 10:45 when CGB bounces Ben's commander, is he even allowed to do that? Victory Chimes is a mana ability and doesn't use the stack. Yurlok's mana burn ability also doesn't use the stack. I don't think CGB has priority to bounce him.

Being a mana ability means Ben maintains priority but all players have to pass priority on an empty stack to go to the next step/phase. Everyone gets a chance to do something after the mana is added. Same is true for morph, suspend, or other special actions that dont use the stack.

@@ElementofZero Yeah everyone definitely does get to do an action. I just thought that would be afterwards when the phase is about to skip to the next. But I'm basing this on what I remember from playing with proper mana burn back then, so maybe it's wrong. I know that it doesn't use the stack, but when is the exact point that it comes into action and a player loses life? I thought it would be before priorities are passed at the end of a phase

I pulled Owen raptor trainer and my brother pulled blue loyal raptor… neither of us wanted to give our to the other, I later pulled Ellie and Alan and got him to trade me blue for it…. Second comment: When Ben's Commander got double-blocked by Blake, that was the Declare Blockers Step, as the Combat Phase had not ended yet, which means that damage from Yurlock hadn't happened yet.

Mana empties at the end of every step and phase. If you don’t use mana in the blocker step, it will empty when you move to damage.
