We all knew that this is going to happen sooner or later, We just hoped Pixel Worlds would survive for a little bit longer... 10th anniversary would be a great moment and a really good time to say goodbye. Well I guess it's happening sooner... Pixel Worlds was like a ghost ship left by it's whole crew and swapped for a new team consisting of captain and 3 comrades. They just had no chance of continuing this game for a longer run... As of now I guess it's time to live our best time in Pixel Worlds and enjoy it's final days as much as we can. I will really miss this community and cherish many great memories 🗿

It's even more sad that after the main team left...The game's player base declined drastically especially with the dupings,bots,etc.Coincidence or possibly marketing strategy everything aligned to Nexus Station's launch.Sadly they don't have the same vibe as Pixel Worlds it feels like a platformer game rather than Pixel Worlds 2 that's just me though.

Man wtf, they could still keep the servers open though. Imagine everyone who spend money on the game, that they will never get back. I logged in daily, and now it's all for nothing! My friend left a long time ago, so I'm going to lose all the stuff I spend hours earning. If it's only the servers, why can't we just keep an offline version or someone else could set up a server for the game to run on. And why do they promote "last chance to get rare items" if you're going to lose all items along with the game, anyway?

I love parkour and speedrunning them because they are timed. And in the official Nexus station discord server we used to compare our speedrunnes and try get faster runs until we got the exact same milliseconds and couldn't beat each other anymore

Honestly i would prefer this rather than Growtopia. Like how did they still survive with the game full of bot and hacker. I would rather Gt to shutdown or something, i like this type of game but it feels different when exploit has joined the game

I don't think so, out of the 20-ish people working on Nexus First, only 5 people are from Pixel Worlds - and only one of them is actually a programmer. Realistically it won't use "PW Unity Code", because there are too many people who hadn't even touched PW.
