Youre totally right about the value, they really should prioritize not making magic a prenium product and instead getting others into the hobby!! I had three pacjs of this as well and i got deflecting swat and the good heliod! Nice pulls!!!

Commander Masters is a wonderful set for "catch up staples." Nothing bad or wrong about that. New and old players alike needed pieces from this set and it should have brought a lot a players to a more equal battlefield in the commander format. I can only hope people are making great use of the accessibility from all this reprinting. This set, the strixhaven archives and the enchanted tales are perfect for deck building even if the better manabase cards are a bit pricey still. I traded all year in 2023 to have all the pieces for some truly outrageous and thematic decks. I suppose the question now is with all the power and accessibility is casual play really so casual?

@@NateBullock-ow6on trust that I'm not happy about the collection value loss either however the profile tatyova really won me over out of everything in the set. I'm disappointed for the ikoria free spell reprint - that is where the bulk of my CM salt is. What irritates me a lot too is the accessibility increase and yet there is still an excuse to proxy. In reality your hard earned cash is wasted from wotc trying to appease people who don't value the game at all. And for this I am very vocal and against proxy. It makes no sense to argue for value and promote bypassing it.

Well... now the cheapest you get them is $350, so 6 months later, just baaaarely worth it if you just need random stuff. Thanks for the info!

With all the work to sell the cards and the seller fees, the box is a loss. The product just costs too much even for the nice cards it has. At the very least, they should make the draft experience cheaper. Its so hard to find a group that wants to pey 60 dollars to draft.

Man, i would love to watch this past the first couple minutes but by god, i cant recognize every card off the top of my head and this dude just flies through every single pack without even giving the canera a still frame of the cards so we have a chance to pause and read them

They’re never used to be such a thing as a re-print set. They stopped that after Chronicles. But now we’ve seen way more re-prints in the last five years than in the last 30 years. They don’t care about your collection, they’ll destroy the value of everybody’s cards when they’re through.
