3 mana isn't over-costed to put a NONBASIC onto the battlefield. At instant speed, actually, that mode alone is under-costed.

What land in your deck is worth playing for 3 Green mana though? Maybe nykthos or field of the dead. Even then I think I'd just play Sylvan scrying if that's the only thing you'd play the card for.

@@c.r.bledsoe9322 Sylvan scrying is super accessible, and a good option. It's not ramp, though. As far as good lands in the format... I dunno that I need to come up with a list of powerful lands, do I? You named two good options... But even just having access to every utility land in your deck at instant speed is cracked. These days, lands can draw you cards, exile creatures, protect your creatures, remove people's graveyards, remove attackers from combat, return artifacts or enchantments to your hand... I mean, it would be harder to find things lands CAN'T do. Don't underestimate instant-speed lands.

3-mana draw 2 as an Instant is literally the same as Quick Study. So Demand Answers is REALLY good. Especially if you have better artifacts to sacrifice or cards you want to pitch. I would dare say it is as good or better than Quick Study.

it depends a lot on the deck but its usually a very good card. consider yourself lucky they dont know how to play it 😊

More removal, more search, more draw, more lockdown... What about cards that actually are flashy and fun to play, whilst also good at the same time? WotC has lost touch with that side of their player-base. Also haven't been a fan of the busted dinos that whip 100 mana worth of creatures on turn 3-4ish (Fighting in RL commander too with my tokens, and it's so fun when you've just played Rin & Seri for turn, and then you have lethal coming at you and another player..). Just feels like cheating playing bs decks that cheat things out, or search immediately for combo pieces that eliminate variation of the gameplay. I thought we had 100 card decks with 1 each unique card for a reason, and not to cast 1 of 10 spells, and 1 of 10 of another spell to grab Thassa's oracle, exile the entire library for 1 mana with another card, and then win the game, potentially on turn 3 even if they're lucky enough. Also a deck I'm dealing with vs in RL as well.

Not a fan of the rampage because it eats your library per card destroyed. If you destroy 20 artific tokens you just exiled 20 cards that could of been better answers. Now if it put the exiled cards on the bittom when it resolves absolutely but not my cup of tea because it gets rid of my other cards

Archdruid’s Charm is great, Demand Answers is meh at best, Doorkeeper Thrull is gonna be annoying to deal with it, an Anzrag’s Rampage…is the worst of all these “staples”
