Commanders Stadium Update: Why Did DC Hire An LA Consulting Firm To Explore RFK?

The Washington Commanders would love to return to RFK Stadium, but they need DC to get the land back from Congress first. As they try and play the political games, they're preparing to have a plan just in case. However to do that, DC has now hired two separate consulting firms to the tune of nearly one million dollars to explore the possibilities!

I need us back in DC!

If they go back to DC, they need to be able to do what LA did with their new staduim. They need it to be similar to an entertainment district of shopping and other businesses. They need the stadium to be open for local youth and HS sports to play BIG games. They need it open to events like concerts and other entertainment events. They need that site to be so good that it can host the olympics in 2040+
