I'm from the Washington DC area and I haven't felt this excitement since Dan Campbell was five years old. Detroit has no reason to hang their heads. None. The formerly hapless Lions met the formerly hapless Commanders for the divisional championship. Someone was going to lose from these two formerly hapless teams. The Lions will be back in the fall with the same tools and hungrier that ever. The NFL is on notice. Dan Campbell and the team are only feeling the sting of this loss now.
