Criag, your 'never read the comments' stuff roasting trolls and dumb comments was fun- but please please please make this the rare exception and not the rule. What I appreciate about you overall is that you are measured and thoughtful. We need more of that in sports media, not more hot takes and pettiness- which, while sadly a "successful" model for getting "more notoriety", it feeds off the lower common denominator and the worst part of sports fandom and consumerism. Maybe you would make more money doing that, but you are better than that, and I greatly appreciate it, and that's why my wife and I keep listening. Keep up the good work- peace.

I just went back and listened to Tony's call. Took me a minute but I get what he was trying to say now, even though it doesn't make sense: He said CHI should've run the ball more throughout the game; not because he thought it helped their offense, but as a preventative measure to minimize the number of WSH. Since the Bears couldn't do anything on offense, he was arguing at least they should "shorten" the game so the Commanders wouldn't be able to score either. Obv, doesn't make sense if you can't score yourself in the first place, but that was the point he was ATTEMPTING to make lol

Still going to keep putting it out there, hoping to speak it into existence… make some trades, they can make them for NOW and it could also be in the future. AP will need to go out and get 2 outside CBs in the offseason, if he can take care of 1 now, why not? Here are a few CBs they could add: 2025 3rd, 7th + Forbes for Jaycee Horn 2025 4th, 2026 6th + Forbes for Lattimore 2025 4th, 6th 2026 6th + Forbes for Greg Newsome + Za’Darius Smith (Smith can play inside or out, likely would take Obada’s spot for next year & would make trading Allen a little more feasible as well) Some ‘rental’ types: 2025 6th, 7th 2026 5th to NE for Jonathan Jones + Tyquan Thornton / Kendrick Bourne (Bourne might require a 4th + the WRs wouldn’t be rentals) It would be odd to add two CBs but if AP can’t get Horn or Lattimore but can get Newsome (+ Smith) then could also do the NE deal.. ultimately Newsome would replace Forbes; Jones would replace Michael Davis Back to Za’Darius Smith, he wouldn’t cost much in terms of compensation or $, so if they get him now and want to bring him back next year, it wouldn’t stop AP from getting a top tier DE / Edge in 2025 free agency… (where as Harold Landry would make it difficult to bring someone else in during the offseason)

Not defending Big Tony, because the way he framed his argument was so nonsensical, but I kinda understand what he was trying to get at. The Bears had a fresh set of downs after the St.Juste PI on the 1 yard line with 40 seconds left in the game and all 3 of their timeouts. They had 4 chances to punch it into the endzone. They should have run the ball instead of throwing the fade that stopped the clock giving the Commanders enough time to make the impossible happen. If they ran the ball on first down they could chew up all the clock they needed to score a touchdown. Eberflus for coach of the year lol

Also a thought for WR: Gabe Davis just signed in JAX this past offseason but he isn’t clicking with TLaw, so do they possibly have some ‘buyers remorse’ and go ahead and move on from him? AP should call and check! 2025 4th to JAX for Gabe Davis and a 2025 7th!! Bc he isn’t working there he wouldn’t be expensive!! Also would call MIA and ask about about some guys: Calais Campbell -Jaylen Waddle - Fuller - TYREEK 😳.. just a thought
