i am rather new to magic but want to build a Satoru deck and this video helped a lot. now i sadly don't own most of cards nor do i have the budget but it have me things to look forward to and ideas on similar abilities to look for. so thanks!!

I went the kraken way with a bunch of cheap pirates yup its a ninja/pirate deck i call it davy jones locker its super fun and mean if it has too very adaptable to any type of player competitive casual etc...

The end of combat ninjutsu allows you to ninjutsu in something bigger but only after damage is already dealt FYI. You make it sound like you can deal damage twice - once with the 1 drop and then the bigger creature which isn't the case.

with first or double strike you can deal damage with both

The madness is a bonus from the discarding/looting. And, madness creatures come down so cheap, it's good to pick them back up in a ninjitsu attack to get more value from them.

Great video but I feel like using things that protect a commander isn't telegraphing. Obviously you're attempting to do something cool with your deck, that is why you sat down. Protecting the key piece just means it's harder for them to interact with you. If they waste a spell on the boots or greaves then you've still won because they used resources and you still haven't actually been stopped.

It's true. The main reason I'm a fan of instants over boots or other permanents, is that when you put the boots on something, it sends a message to the table that "this piece is important". Then they start to work together - "if you can kill those boots, I can kill the creature" type of stuff. Bit of a target.
