lack of the inventory system will remain my biggest complain that's what made the game different and had it's own infinite sandbox mechanism

If this is supposed to be a state very close to the final version, then it will be a very bad joke and a failure. The optimization is absolutely insane. The graphics are like from around 2010, moreover often faded and grainy. On the RTX 3070, I have a maximum FPS of 70. In my case, only Oldschool control comes into consideration, or possibly combine it with Custom. I'm surprised that you can't put the soldiers to sleep and tie them up, or search them and choose their equipment. I would also modify and decorate the main menu, for example with pictures of the entire commando or photos from missions. So far, at first glance, a big disappointment.

Aynı anda iki farklı komandoya komut verme sistemi çok iyi. Patlama efekti güzel. Ama eksileri çok fazla - Düşmana yumruk atma bayıltma veya bağlama yok - Uzerlerini arama envanterlerini karıştırma veya dolaplara kasalara bakma yok. - Loot yapma sistemi commandos 1 de bile daha iyiydi. - Oyun müziği yok. - Alarm diye bağıran askerler yok :( - Kaybolan veya ölen arkadaşını arayan askerler yok. Kısaca daha çok eksileri var bunlar duzeltilmesi gereken elzem özellikler..

It uses the same engine as desperados and shadow gambit.

I think Origins uses UE4, while Desperados and Shadow Gambit use Unity. However, while playing this demo, it feels similar to those games.

Damn, I felt more nostalgia playing partisans 1941 than this thing. It just doesn't feel like the original commandos games...

It was disappointing to see that we can't take enemy 's uniforms and weapons or ammo. 😢😢

That doesn't sound right. One of the characters in the game (I think spy) did exactly that. Impersonating the enemy by wearing their uniforms. It would basically kill that character which is stupid if they do that.

@@ykhatat Spy is on the artwork so clearly he's in the full game. Presumably you can still disguise and everything in the whole game, even if it's without an inventory.

@@olivercm-ty3hu i guess they wanted to prevent accidental fire, thus drawing in attention to your position. And i agree, there wasn't such feature in original game, and i don't think its needed nowdays. People should learn to play smart for a change

its obvious that its not optimized yet. Its a demo. People complaining about missing stuff that was pointless in the old games anyway are crybabies. Not to mention that Spy should still be able to change uniforms. It never made sense that the others could too gameplay wise.

It was fun to change uniforms nevertheless even if it didn't make sense. There were different uniform types, and it opened up more possibilities to engage the game and approach objectives

The in-game settings menu is also missing lots of text, the game is clearly not finished. Which is fine, it's just a demo. I'm certain they will take feedback on the demo as input for finishing the whole game

Just played the demo and man, i can't believe it. So many years later this is what we get? The gameplay is nothing compared to the the original experience. And look at that boat where the Marine comes in, the graphics just look awful. And can we loot enemies in the final game?? I always hoped for a comeback of this game but not like what i seen so far.

Poorly optimizes, bad controls, lack original commands features ( using enemy guns and inventory for example), lack double click run, cant throw bodies from cliss, cant knock out and tie soldiers

Lack of map, auto shoot like in men of courage with the button 'x' and list of objectives (having the freedom to do whichever objective we want to do first like in men of courage) are also missing, but lets hope they add all these things in the final version

@@ibrahimalabbasi3994 To be fair, this is just a demo of the tutorial level, that's why the objectives are sequential. Every section of the map is designed to teach you a new thing. I'm hoping and assuming the whole game will give the player more freedom
