Okay, so you're a man and you don't want to wear a skirt but there's plenty else to choose from here. How about one of those jackets with bits of the lining hanging artfully out? Or a striped raincoat? Or just a pair of baggy shorts? Nobody expects you to wear the whole damn thing. Just gape in awe at the inventiveness and unexpected detail on display here. (Those headpieces alone make the show not a waste of your valuable time) Appreciate the supreme skill in the cutting and structuring of cloth that was essential to the realisation of these garments. And just experience, if only vicariously, the sheer joy and exuberance of the creative mind.

I love it ! There's a richness of textures and silhouettes , and the storytelling behind captivating , like some Scandinavian young royals' fraternity in a boarding school of the future ❤ My favorite long black wool blazer EVER was Comme des garçons , it was perfection but was stolen , I still cry over it !!

That's exactly how Rei Kawakubo (the designer) wanted to see how other people will see her creations. Her primary goal is not to create garments that people see as merely beautiful or wearable but to provoke thought and emotion. She wants people to question the norms of fashion and beauty, creating a dialogue about identity, form, and aesthetics.
