Very interesting take on your first ride mate.. I'm also a E bike convert and found the weight to be the biggest thing to overcome ( sore arms). It plowed through chunk as you stated and all in all was dame impressive . Enjoy riding while you still can , and more of it obviously ..Yeeeww🤘

Yeah the weight isn’t ideal. I think there is a market for a lighter weight, less power enduro. I hope there is a sub 20kg version in my price range next time.

Mine is a large. I’m 183cm and it fits great. From my understanding they aren’t doing the meta anymore, they are going SX only? Could be wrong though. I thought I wanted a mullet, maybe I still do, not sure. It’s a hard choice, but I’m not disappointed at all with it.

how different is the feeling having so much weight at the bottom when the bikes in the air compared to your normal full sus ? do you find yourself riding it any differently ? Commencal are a great brand, i have a 21 model HT and love it

I actually find it better for jumping than the Reign. It just feels so much more stable. I don't think I'm riding it any different, but I was never throwing whips or anything that required a lot of skill in the air.

Trail fairies have put in a stack of work around Narra. Happy endings got a make over not too long ago. They put a new double in down the bottom.

Congrats on new bike. yea the 25 limit sucks escpecially on jump lines with a marginal gradient. Everything else is pretty much a win.

So far there is just one jump I do that really gasses me pedalling into it. I really want to override the setting, but that will have to wait.

i have an e bike and had a one for 5 years, a one with a shimano motor, if i knew what i do now about shimano powered e bikes i wouldnt of bought it, the motors are a pile of crap, luckily i have a few other bikes that arent e bikes and dont fck up after a few 1000 miles with thee e010 error code which means it’s unrepairable, put the motor too one side and you have a beautiful looking bike 👍

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully they have fixed the issues with the EP8. So far it's been flawless.
