I was always disappointed the Houston owners of The Gage jacked the prices into Elan stratospheres. When I was first visiting, they were $35-40 a night - completely reasonable at the time they had a wonderful kitchen. Pretty good music on Friday and or Saturday. That was 1980s into the mid-90s when the new owners said "We can make a million overnight!" From six guests.

Great comment call today. You can get a small tent, I believe from Walmart that has a flap that is made for a small window unit.The A/C just sits on the ground. I've seen several people using them in camp grounds here in Arkansas.
