Is it necessary as the Double Attack tank to use cooldows and at what point? If youre topped off id imagine you wouldnt need one but when is one necessary? Also when you say Double Attack fizzles if a massacre follows does that apply for all Double Attack Massacre line ups or just the one at the end of Feud?

@@nogunk147 usually it's gonna be something like 320k+ damage on 25m heroic from double attack, so you need whatever is required to survive that. Double attack will fizzle after all massacres, so like half the casted double attacks don't actually do anything

Really enjoying the tank POV explanations, hope we get one for every boss in Cata :) If I could request something to add, it would be tips for which trinkets to use for specific fights, recommendation for FC / Stoneskin runeforge, protips like that

Does PW:S work to stop a double attack death on a tank? I heard that a Blood DK shield can just take every double attack, so I'd assume a PW:S could do the same for any tank - even your Ret Pala

Second question -- you said blood shield isn't affected in the last phase - what about PW:S again? Can Priests save the raid? Or even Divine Aegis

PWS works. Not sure about aegis. Prayer of mending randomly still heals in final phase though

in the 2 tank strat, would the tank with no break stacks take all the double attacks during system failure themselves?

Yah the tank with no Break stacks tanks the entire system failure including the double attack. There's only 1 actual double attack during system failure. He'll cast a 2nd one at the end, but then he'll cast Massacre before he actually swings with it, so it will fizzle

What is the benefit of the Ret tanking as a 3rd tank over just 2 tanking this? Is it to spread out the breaking stacks so that 1 tank doesn't get to high?

It allows your 2 real tanks to enter system failure with 0 break stacks so you can have one of them take melees with just the breaks they accumulate during system failure and the other one take double attacks with no break stacks
