I’m a straight white man who has zero issues with DEI. If a woman of color can do my job better than me, I guess I need to find a different job. My other white male coworkers complain about DEI and “white racism” all the time. They sure didn’t like it when I called them white supremacists. I explained that if they thought the only way any minority could do their job as well as they could, was because of being a DEI hire, that’s the literally definition of white supremacy.

I've been managed by men and women of Latinos, African, Asian, and Anglo descent. Every one of them was competent to supervise me and run our department. I'm proud to have worked under them. THANK YOU, Kyle Clark, for saying it out loud. I hit all the 'you're a racist' check boxes for most of the agenda activists out there: Middle-aged, straight, Protestant white male veteran. Yet I don't belong to any political party and to be honest I hold all of them in equal contempt. I vote conservative on some issues [gun rights, strong defense] and liberal on others [the environment, anti-corporate, rights under the law]. I absolutely believe in the idea that rights should extend to everyone equally and I take the oath I swore as a US Army enlistee pretty seriously to this day. I judge people by their words and actions, not their surface adjectives. I don't care who you love or what you're into so long as three basic criteria are met: a] everyone is an adult [aka over the age of 21], b] everyone has given their informed consent to participate, and c] nobody is being victimized. And I wholeheartedly believe that there's room at the table for everybody.
