Hey Adam. Im all in for you getting back into Red Dead Redemption. Been patiently waiting lol. I got to get out and try to fire up the snowblower myself and make sure she will start for winter. Good video. Keep up the great work

I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed it getting darker much earlier this year. I work 3 to 11pm and take my first break at 6pm and there was usually still a bit of daylight left by that point last year, not this year. It’s pitch black when i go on break.

A lot of the grid backfeeding from EVs is often based on your car being connected to a charging station in a car park (granted some home chargers can do the same, but often to a lower power rating), with the amount of potential kilowatts of batteries just sat there as people are at work during the day, and peak power consumption occurring during the daytime when generators are brought in and out to deal with the demand, that's when it's more likely to occur, and with rapid charging EVs being pretty common now, you likely wouldn't even notice the car having been used as a powerbank... :)

Thinking about the time difference between there and here in the UK, the times I was gaming with you guys, yeah, I was awake through the night for that, though that's just cos I'm broken and my days are more like that of Bajor (26 hour days, if you forgot that from DS9!)... :P

Yeah Red Dead is a good game! I am the kind of person who really like open-world games loves exploring. Also on Steam this week they have a lot of free games so I got once human. It is open world too and people post tips all over the map and there is a live chat. At first it reminded me of Fortnite based on how you build the houses and I wasn't sure if I would keep the game cause I thought I would get bored. I don't see the point in cable anymore. My parents still have cable cause they like certain channels like Food Network. But if ever I can live alone I will stream all the time with a smart TV. What is the point of cable were you only watch like 1% of the channels.

My fear with pushing people to go EV and the smart power meters our power company has installed in past years. They can remotely cut your power. Could we see scheduled charging to keep loads on the grid balanced, I don't know.
