Commercial Fishing in DC -- a Door County Historical Society program (7-24-23)

The Door County Historical Society's sold-out dinner program on July 24 at The Log Den featured Dennis Hickey, an experienced commercial fisherman and co-founder of Baileys Harbor Fish Company.
Over the years, Dennis and his brother Jeff have worked with the Wisconsin DNR, Sea Grant, Fisheries Coop at UW-Stevens Point, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife to complete numerous assessments, tagging, and research projects. These activities resulted in Dennis Hickey’s appointment by Governor Tony Earl to the Great Lakes Fish Commission-Lake Michigan Commercial Fisheries Advisor, a position he still hold today.
