Question do you notch the tails of the female lobsters 🦞 that have eggs?
@c.ifishingguernsey Жыл бұрын
Hi mate over here in guernsey we don’t notch the tails of the lobsters 👍👍
@oldmanriver1057 Жыл бұрын
Back in the 1950-s in New England, they used to use wooden wedges in the lobsters 🦞 large claws to keep them close!

p.s. the builder , macca's son noel mckenzie died of leukemia with about 2 weeks of fiberglassing left. aye aye sir. you built the safest boat in the world and saved 4 men 3 x's. not to mention beating every destroyer by 2 knotts and still making it back to the springers. taztez. and last seen working out of winyard, n.w. tas. just look for the blue with l'blue stripe.

whatever it takes, we usually short coin for the pub after unloading to co-op and scrub/washdown.

how do all? great vid'. the colour of boat caught eye. when 22 deckhand on shark/cray boat. 7x330 hooks 1 ml. lead line t 40 pot [ seasonal ] tas.. after laying /winching all 7 across tide and force 6 all day between stanley and king island, feb. '81 bass straight. halfway home macca, [ allen mckenzie rip ], thought get cover head sth between three hummocks and hunters isles, [ about 5 k apart n. flaring wide e. sth end. f. 7 and dark 9pm. our 12.5 k cruise suddenly sped up to 45 knotts, [ 48ft tas.h/wood bolted onto two 3x2'' ribs every half m. then all fiberglass on ten ply aft w/house. running gardeners straight 8 diesel incl wet well behind motor, fuel/water l. and 5 x 2.5 ice bays for shark. anchor well and bunks the east tide coming up and catching under f7 sea at top. when broke the gardeners was popping at 1 cylinder every 5.5 seconds with weight of all whitewater completely covered, then up she come square keeled nose up just like emergency ascent in sub.. after 1st i lit a smoke, macca said no but i countered may be last. i looked at 2nd wave speeding us up and noticed bullkelp being ripped off rocky bottom racing up wave into darkness, though there was 100 watt halogen aft decklight shining straight at it so wave had to be at least 20m. she came up square and third as well. i'd spent most of that encounter standing by hatch to motor room to do restart if stalled. ...and praying victor bilowski and tom, 2 deckies from san remo vic. didn't decide to open folkshole hatch when 1 of 3 about to crash. happy boating all, taztez.
