I used to have a Baby All Gone. The cherries really did smell like cherry candies, I loved smelling them. I laughed harder at Nostalgia Critic saying Jesus Christ in Spanish than the ad itself. And I remember the Capri Sun ads. I've never taken ads like those seriously so I just thought they were morbidly fascinating

I'm actually the one who requested Doug to do the train PSA on Facebook. Growing up in Adelaide, South Australia, I saw those PSAs multiple times as a kid, and they really traumatised me to the point where I freaked out whenever we went over a level crossing, which my sister teased me about for *years.*

cruel reality for damaging level crossings: That woman wouldnt been legit arrested for backing out and damaging "Federal Property" and likely "Reckless endagerment of personel and children" oh, and "pulling on and stopping ON said crossing" in the first place. Worst of all: It happens far moee than not. Some by the legitamently stupid or ignirant, other times by the legit suicidal. Wouldnt have been a campaign if it wasnt dumbfoundingly common. And thats AUSTRALIA! Youd expect that for Europe or America!

If I recall correctly, the reason why the Head-On ad is so repetitive is because they legally couldn't make any medical claims about what it was _supposed_ to do. That was because it's literally just a stick of wax that you're meant to rub on your head to relieve headaches, which obviously doesn't do shit.

Yeah, one of Grimace's older designs had eyes like that. I'm guessing what they're saying toward the end of the Reese's Pieces commercial is "funkin' shell", as in "Friday Night Funkin'". I think that...gate...thing was behind that woman in the car in the Australian PSA, actually.

They never disappoint and always crack me up to the extent of which my ribs hurt. 😆😂🤣 Seriously WTF Capri Sun!? The Germans clearly had something up their sleeves since 1969 if they endorsed those awkward and outrageous ads to sell their “kid friendly” products since 1981.

In the train PSA, they CAN’T back up, Nate, because theres a barrier that comes down and blocks them. Not only that, but by the time they’re in the crossing, there are several cars in the way, so they can’t just reverse through the barrier anyway. PAY ATTENTION!
