Good stuff, but some inaccuracies I suggest. In no world is LTE available 20NM from a tower… more 3-4NM at best. SMS and voice, longer, but not data. The bit about SL turning you off when you go past 10 knots is sort of wrong. You need to have a mobile “priority” plan which is the term that should have been used instead of global in many places. Mobile Priority is what you opt in for with your regional or global mobile plan to go offshore or fast… like driving a RV or faster boat. The global priority plan rarely makes sense as it includes 50GB of priority data at the same price as $2/GB gets you for $100…. If you opt in when you need it and use less, you will pay less.
