While an Indian company owns a ahare of tge company, the tech is not in any way Indian. It was, and still is a British company. With also French and Indian owners.

Not sure if there is really gonna be any meaningful competition, SpaceX seems so unconcerned about OneWeb that they are launching OneWeb satellites on their Falcon 9 rockets. I mean, i guess SpaceX makes money either way in the end...

SpaceX today just announced today that they will launch Oneweb satellites into space. Elon Musk is actively helping his competition apparently because they can't get Russia to launch their satellites anymore.
