Ooo I gotta get that magnetic tray! My dad used an old style of those for years, although it was a metal bowl with a GIANT magnet! Loving your channel!

While I realize everyone's environment is different, I try to keep magnets away from my electronics workspace, due to the fact that floppy disks and floppy drives will eventually be around there, and oversights and accidents happen.

The best and cheapest remover for all adhesive stickum and labels is cheapo WalMart Ronsonol lighter fluid. As long as it can get under the paper to the adhesives and you keep it wet, you can practically slide stickers off.

I’ve not tried that one. I’ve used WD40 in the past but I’ll have to try Ronsonol next time I have a stubborn one. Thanks

Cool restoration. But what's with the wildly variable volume between segments?

Weird...it works fine on the original video on my PC but I see it's dropping out in some places on KZbin. I'll have to research and see what's going on. I guess I need to watch it before publishing in the future...thanks for the heads up

Great video. 👍 Do you take on restoration jobs? I have a 128, monitor, & disk drive. All seem to work but I'd like it gone over.

I wish I could but I really don’t have time. Happy to help in other ways if I can though.
