Easily one of the best C64 demos ever. Top notch in all categories, music, graphics. I especially like the feeling that it seems to not care at all about the limitations of the machine. I bet it looks even better on a real CRT monitor.

No fucking way! It is not possible on C64! I was active on scene in very early 90's, now doing little steps to be back again. I was always in love in technical stuff like Crest, Horizon, Cosmos but...I am lack of words, this rocket me sky high! Waiting for my old c64 (1984...) to see this gem on real HW. My deepest respect - Hornet/Agony Design

@@accadiggi non metto in dubbio le tue capacità ma dovresti spiegarmi come è possibile riprodurre su un Sid stock più di tre suoni nello stesso momento. Conosco molto bene le caratteristiche del chip come quelle di un sintetizzatore in generale. Le "voci" del Sid sono tre e tecnicamente non puoi riprodurne oltre allo stesso tempo (E non sto parlando di fondere due forme d'onda insieme perchè quello è un altro discorso). Qui io sento contemporaneamente : 1.Colpo di rullante, 2. Basso, 3 Accordi (quelli "finti" ricreati con la successione di tre note suonate velocemente). 4. traccia della melodia che è il suono lungo. Capisci cosa intendo? L'unico modo per far suonare più strumenti al Sid è quello di cambiare al volo la forma d'onda sullo stesso canale simulando una nuova traccia dello strumento. Ad esempio sul canale numero uno (voce1) possono esistere una cassa, un basso in levare ed un colpo di rullante, ma non suoneranno mai nello stesso momento perchè l'oscillatore è UNO.

I was confused for a second, the demo looked familiar to me... because it is. This is a re-release. The original demo was released 3, June 2023. This one is just an improved version that fixed some minor glitches and added some effects that didn't make it on time for the original release.

Why are you using an emulator, can't you see that it can't keep up? How about capturing video from the physical hardware next time? You can do it with a SCART connector.
