Still have my Amiga 500. I had installed an internal hard drive in place of the floppy. It was, and still is, awesome.

Maybe the 500+ UK keyboard came about because of having extra keys on other language keyboards on the 500 anyway? I could well imagine a typical Commodore cost-reduction if 'if we use the extended number of keys everywhere, we only need one type of keyboard mechanism'… still, who knows?
