The emitter current is almost independent of Vcb
@MTutorEdu4 жыл бұрын
Hi, The emitter current is not independent of VCB, because, in the common base configuration, the IE increases with the increase of VCB. Here, when reverse bias voltage VCB increases, the width of the depletion region also increases, which reduces the electrical base width. Due to the reduction of the electrical base width, now there are more charge particles per unit area. This increase in the concentration of charge carriers causes more diffusion of electrons from the n-type base, increasing emitter current slightly. This is why the IE increases with the increase of VCB. The same has been explained in our video timing at 3.48.

With all due respect, the animation is very good, but it looks like you are reading a book paragraph, instead of explaining the transistor behavior. Your speed is also very fast. Briefly, the lack of the characteristics of an effective teacher.

Many Thanks for your Feedback, we will work on it.

Hi Nasir, Your inputs noted, however, this video is all about the common base characteristics; hence “Transistor behaviour” was not included in this video, which is explained in a separate video.
