Hi there! Very interesting and fun video! My favourite word is cheeky. In Chile thre is a female comedian named "chiqui" Aguayo who's irreverent and absolutely not polite, haha. In Chile we have some eqwuivalent words: Quid= Luca (1.000 clp), it has plural: Lucas (equal as the name). Loo= "Wate" from "water"...is used in a very informal way. Dodgy= Peludo/a (furry) Used in others situations like an academic exam (El examen estuvo peludo). Skint: Pato (duck) Estoy pato (i've got no money). Cheeky: I'm not sure if the next expression can be equivalent: "De pasada": Fui al centro y de pasada compré unos cosas (I went to downtown and i made a cheeke buy). Saludos!

To me you are a "True Angel", I truly adore you and your sweet accent with all of my heart ❤ Thank you so much for such a lovely lesson, I really enjoy all of your video lessons. Most of these adorable words were either totally new to me, or I didn't know their meaning. You just gave me a reason to start using them. Since you asked for it, my personal favorite will be "Dodgy". I really love the way you pronounce it with your beautiful British accent. Please do enjoy the rest of your week "my beautiful angel" 😘😘

Hi Emma, without any doubt, my favourite slang word is "cheeky", it is a mixture of several meanings, but no one of them too rude, it seems something similar to "cunning", doesn't it?.
@Pronunciationwithemma3 жыл бұрын
Cunning a little different. Cheeky 1 - someone who's being rude and impolite but in a funny way. Cheeky 2 - something that's done in a quick and spontaneous way for fun/enjoyment Cunning - someone who plans things to try and manipulate people in order to get what they want (a little bit like "manipulative") :)

Hmmm, kinda! Cheeky is more like something rude but you find it amusing BECAUSE it is rude. Naughty is just when you do something bad or misbehave.
