About the video
For years, I have heard students make this grammar mistake in English, even if they are fluent speakers. They often say, "I didn't saw him, I didn't went there, I didn't knew that"... and these sentences are INCORRECT. In fact, you might be making this mistake without even realizing it. So, I made this video to help you practice drilling CORRECT sentences. If you listen to this video several times and practice with my PDF notes, I'm confident you will retrain your brain and your mouth to avoid this mistake now and in the future. Enjoy!

I never thought that the fact of repeating the sentences over and over again could be helpful to remember the right way to speak and stop making these grammar mistakes. Loved this information 💕

@@TheEnglishCoach I have to stop and think before saying things like “dad haven’t arrived” and not “dad haven’t arrive”, “she couldn’t come” or “she couldn’t came”. I mean I know how to say it but I always have to double check. “Should’ve gotten”, “haven’t had”. Those are tricky ones. Also “I have” vs “I’ve got” vs “I got”. Also questions: “haven’t you said that already?”

I think it might make sense to teach Simple Tenses to their students in the following order: - I understand you - - I do understand you - I don't understand you - Do I understand you ? - That is, it's a good idea to demonstrate the students COMPLEX positive structure first (DO/DOES/DID + Inf), so that they could see where all these auxiliary verbs come from. Otherwise - you're bound to have recurrent problems. Also, it could be useful to tell your students from the very beginning that COMPLEX verb structures in English are the RULE, whereas SIMPLE ones - just an EXCEPTION. So the only thing that we're interested in - grammarwise - should be the first verb from the left.
