I wonder if anyone will reply to this after the video being up for so long: I just bought a hoverboard. Internals are dated 2015. The insides are very clean and I dont think the board has seen much use. it is a V1.0. It was sold as spares/repair. The battery would not charge and showed 3.1v so I replaced the battery. The battery was charged up without any issues. When the board is switched on, all the lights briefly flash and the board turns off. I have read somewhere that the V1.0 board had a fault that could 'brick' it and it would never work again. what are your thoughts?

I can't find any videos to show how to take it off or where it is. I have it with a gokart kit but with the extra weight it doesn't go nearly as fast. I want to remove it or disconnect it so it will move as fast as it should. And will it require a bigger battery?

I have a 10” hover board that has stopped working. When it is turned on, the green light comes on but the red light on the R center side of the board also comes on and blinks, and there is a constant beep sounds for a few seconds.

My grandson has a Swagtron T1 short circuit, I unplugged the battery and all the other connectors and it still has the short circuit, the charger light goes out and there is a spark when you plug it in. ??? Any help appreciated.

hello. My son's hoover board only comes on when plugged in but i get a constant blinking green light. when i try to turn it on without the charger in comes on for a second and goes off. do you think it's the battery or logic board? i've checked and all the wires are secure. his hoover board has two batteries and logic boards, one on each side.

hi i have changed all boards but only one side works as it should the other side the wheel locks you cn hear it trying to move,ive adjusted it to make sure its not catching on anything ive tried changing the wires round from the motor but then it goes crazy any ideas, ive also tried a different motor and still the same any ideas

My brand new hoverboard run time is around 25 minutes then it cut off power of board. At full charge it was around 41.5 V and after 25 minutes the battery voltage was only 37.8 V for cut off. Why is the voltage still so high and already there was a cut off the power? At wat voltage should the board switch off? Any suggestions?

Hi my hover board turns off by it self if you drive back and forward quickly or once I have been driving slightly uphill and it turned off as well than it just doesn’t want to turn back on but if I plug it in to the charger it turns back on and drive just fine is it something like battery management system or something ? We have jetson motokicks. One works fine but the other keeps beeping and flashing when turned on. At times it powers up normal and tries going forward but stops and then starts beeping and flashing again. What could be the problem?

Great video! i have a rare problem with my hoverboard, i turn it on and it works fine but after riding it around 5-10 minutes one side of the hoverboard dies completely and then the other side also. the light is still activated and works when pressing the balance sensor but the motors are completely dead. the strange thing is when i turn it of and wait 2-3 minutes to turn it on the motors work again but on ly for 5-10 minutes and then the same issue, do you possibly have a solution for this???

So I recently bought a hover board from a friend, I don't know what brand it is, all I know it's the one with the "Mercedes" wheels, and I opened it up and saw that there was a wire not connected to anything, but when I ride the board it works fine like as if that wire doesn't effect the board at all , but I really just want to know where that wire goes, it's a black and red one from the mother board and they are pretty thin wires

my hoverboard doesn't work on the right side, the circle light blink red and it make a beep on both side when putting weight on it, but the motor on the right wont work like the left side do when I step on the left side first but after taking my foot off the left and putting my foot on it again, the motor won't run. red light are blinking even after recalibrating the sensors. I tried reconnecting the wires making sure they all work. when it stopped working? when I excedently ran over a small rock with hoverboard and the hoverboard started rolling away for a little bit of time. whats wrong with it?

Hey I received a hoverboard that came to the original owner broken. Specifically, it only seems to actually work when it's tilted far forwards, making it rather impossible to actually ride. Otherwise, it makes a loud, repetitive beep and a red light displays. When I opened it up and took a look at the various wires at one point, where the little connections covered in the plastic tubing are made battery-side, the green wire appears to be hooked up to the blue wire, the blue wire hooked up to the yellow wire, and the yellow wire hooked up to the green wire. Is this something that could cause this problem, and if it is, how should I go about disconnecting and reconnecting the wires?

my sons hover board just quit working. When turning the wheels by hand one wheel spins smoothly and the other does not. It feels almost like a stop move motion. And neither side have power to the wheels. lights come on except the left one on the top. blue led's both come on. theres no loose wires inside everything seems plugged in right. tried reseting it even disconnected the battery and still nothing. i'm thinking maybe the wheel needs replaced since it is a rotor/stator setup. can you please help me resolve this issue.

I just got a hover board and it worked fine. It was a hands free smart board x2 from swagtron. I works great but it doesn't charge like the others have posted below. When I plug in the charger the red light on the charger turns to green right away and the board just doesn't charge. I know that the charger light should be red when charging. The charging port is plugged in to the mother board. Would the board be defected or would you guess it would be the charger?

hello oscar, I would advise you to take a look at our recalibration video. if that does not work I would diagnose the issue as you needing one or two balance sensors replace. we would recommend you always use high quality parts on your device.

Please help! Koowheel hoverboard K1 started to work incorrectly. The first mistake was to stop the left or right engine at random, then suddenly turn off. I can not turn it on. I suspected the charger, but the charger is correct. I thought the battery was empty, but the battery was 36V. When I try to turn it on, the green light on it once lights up once. When I connect it to the charger, the loudspeaker is activated that the bluetooth is ready for pairing. The device shows charging, but charger does not. (Battery full) Can I safely say that the motherboard is incorrect, or can it be anything else?

my board goes in only one direction whether i push the front of pads or the back of the pads. I have never seen this problem and have no idea where to start looking. Board moves same direction regardless of which way pad is pushed.

once i switch it on, i put force on any of the pedal it moved once then i put force again on any other side it wouldn't move. then i switched off and turned on again. same thing repeated again.May i know whats the problem please? thanks

You might have bad battery, check for voltage of battery at least leave in plug over night. My does.

My sons hover board won't stay on. If you hold down the power button, it will stay on as long as you're pressing the button. As soon as you take your finger off the power button and it turns off again. I replaced the power button and it did not help. Any thoughts on this?

Hello, hope you can help me fault find my problem. I’ve changed out the gyro on my hover board and tested each corner with the blue lights which are working. The problem is that it beeps and turns on and the green lights in the centre flash up then disappear. It does not go into calibration mode only when I apply pressure do I see the blue light come on but no movement.

I fell of my hoverboard and it rolled a few feet, now it wont work. When i turn it on, it does the on sound and turns of in 2 seconds.! If i hold the on button down my board will stay on and the red light will continue to flash. Only one pedal is working too. What can i do? Nothing happend if i put it on charger, and when i tried to calibrate it once i stopped holding the on button, the board just turned off. Help please?

I'm hoping you can help. My son purchased a Hoverboard and got 2 days of use from it. The symptoms are... The unit red error light comes on. I have tried to recalibrate it and get same error light. The blue LED light stays on on the right side. The same side wheel has more resistance then the other. I remove the cover and the logic board light seems to blink constantly with no pause in between. I have checked all the wires to verify there is no loose connection. Trying to figure out if I need new Gyro boards, a logic board or a need wheel/motor. Thanks in Advance.

I just bought a new hoverboard.. But RT tyre makes cracking sound. But if u rotate it by hand then there is no noise. It not a grinding sound. Its cracking/ popping sort of sound.

I have smart balance 10 inches wheel smartboard. And the problem is like one wheel is working faster. When I turn right it turns fast and when I turn left it is very slow. Hello, What would cause the board to come to a complete stop and the battery light blinks 7 times? The board is fully charged according to the charger. It is the battery light blinking not the round power light. Also the board is hardly used basically new. Thanks

You just have to open up the hoverboard and detach the wire that connects to the speaker. It's very simple.

my board takes off too fast when you try to get on either side. It doesn't wait for both sides to be pressed. It seems to only have one speed, fast.

I have a hoverboard that will not go into calibration mode. When I turn the board on it still works but the red light stays on and when you ride it, it is obvious that the board is not calibrated. I have tried many times to get it into calibration mode but the blue lights won’t flash no matter how long I hold the power button down. The red light flashes three times and then goes to a solid red circle... any help would be greatly appreciated

Ok my problem is that when I switch it on the blue light on the right side will switch on and not turn off and this will cause that side to shake side to side. I can still ride it fine. What should I do? Is it the same problem?

Hi my question to you is I had one side of my sons board that wasn't working so I replaced the balance sensor now it seems to work except it's out of control fast. The slightest touch and it spins around so fast . Something is drastically wrong. Could it be the part I put in or another issue . When I press on the pad only one light lights up. I just bought a 10 inch bluetooth hoverboard it's working perfectly fine but i opened it, just to make sure everything inside it's ok, but my only concern it's that the color wires for me don't seem to be connected right because they are not connected with the same matching color for example the green is connected to the blue and the yellow is connected to a different color. So should i reconnect all the wires to the same matching colors and if yes will my board still work fine please let me know asap so i can fix this if this could be a problem if it is a problem.

My board flipped/rolled when I hit a big bump and after that it won't turn back on for like 5 minutes or more. Now every time it slips out from my feet it does the same thing and shuts off and won't come back on for at minimum 5 minutes

I've been debating whether to put the wires inside or outside the battery casing. If I put them outside the sharp edges of the battery casing might chew up the wires. If I put it inside the wires might deform the battery. Which is better?

Hi, My hoverboard is stopping while riding, do you have any clue of the problem? I replaced ALL the electrical circuits, but still have the problem... I just unpluged the battery as someone told me it could solve it... I was also thinking of a battery problem, but I'm not sure that it can solve the problem... The board is working if the load on the wheel is not too high (strength request), if too high, it could leed to a lower voltage of the battery, something like going from 36V to 30V or lower...
