you forgot to mention the specific buffs each race gives to kendo. Both vizard and letz give a buff to your bisection and rising swallow which makes them ragdoll. However, where these two deviate is with mortal ties, crescent relief and delayed crossings. Only letz gets a delayed crossings buff which (I believe) makes it ragdoll as well. Vizard however gets a buff in mortal ties and crescent relief which makes them more deadly. With the new charge variant arrancar can keep up greatly but these other buffs still deserve a mention

Quick lil combo for us kendo users: Use flower petals and make sure it hits so you can get the second version (the teleport) and hit crescent relief and use the teleport while there getting hit by crescent relief into mortal ties. Its a true combo if the flower petals guard breaks 🙏🏽

45 kendo with 20 speed is actually quite good as your faster and have access to blooming cut to combo start as well as phantom trick and pressure shift to juke and counter opponent’s respectively

if you get proficency variant I recommend you get eviscerate + sonata as the eviscerate autotracks across the map literally it goes so far and if you land it it gives you a charge back because of how much dmg it does so you can follow up with a charged sonata after which also gives you another charged.

Also adding on 45 kendo 20 speed split is much useful then 50 - 15 split as you get flashstep mastery 2 and pressure shift AND phantom trick. Gives you so much more mobility and mke sure to ultalize pressure shift

I also recommend using overpowering slash ALOT if your proficiency. The move does guardbreak stun even when you don’t guardbreak your opponent. So a combo would be flower passage feint into overpowering slash and then sonata/rising swallow. You can also punish players for using specter step by using overpowering slash (hyperarmour) and it’s a free stun if you have proficiency up.

​@@yesness7579You can use both swallow and sonata. Charge variant makes so that rising swallow STUNS the opponent, which is enough to land a sonata, and since swallows also does crap ton of damage your sonata will be charged as well.

One thing I think every Kendo player that’s like not good at using Kendo should do is be aggressive like super aggressive one thing I did at first was abuse flower passage and flower petal and like any move to gain distance to avoid moves and then close the distance and combo them. This doesn’t work unless you have a Kido or Speed build you will end up doing very little damage if you try this you gotta be like Kenpachi you gotta actively stay close as hell to them and do your moves cause Kendo is all about putting pressure on your opponent cause if y’all haven’t noticed almost everyone you may have fought probably popped visored or letz on you, if that happens don’t even worry just be more aggressive you won’t beat anyone with Kendo unless you have a Viking mentality this is especially true in mirror matches since if you make one mistake and you get comboed by like 5 moves at once very similar to Hakuda if you ask me

I do wanna add that if you struggle to close the distance I think the dude mentioned it in the video but get starkk like Starkk may seem weird for Kendo but it’s a very underrated build since crescent relief is true combo with cero Corazon doing insane damage that plus skill and every other move and you get one of the most fun builds in the game so yeah dealing with runners flower moves and starkk

I haven't used the 45 20 kendo build, I've only used 50 kendo 15 speed and 40 speed 25 kendo, though personally I think it just depends on your build/playstyle with pressure shift you're able to play more defensively and deal with long-range attackers/passive players by countering them with mortal ties you're able to hold them down without ever giving them the chance to run away just depends on what you'd rather do and what works better for your build

I use storm partial essence with kendo. It makes me feel as fast as 50 speed. I use water odachi on my sr (I got 3 odachi and 2 daggers no longsword 💀).
