Totally irrelevant. Governments allow these criminals to flourish. Some governments enjoy the tax revenue from cyber-criminals, or take bribes. besides, the right attitude is not to blame the victims of crime, but punish the criminals. Even the smartest people get scammed sometimes. You're tired, you're busy, you click on something by mistake. Often that is all it takes with some malware.

This has been happening for years in America. There are many many videos on KZbin, regarding these scams. Unfortunately these scammers get scammed by much more clever scammers and actual footage of these scammers in India especially, is captured and eventually they get caught out !

I've used these OEM keys for my last two builds, and they've been really reliable. Windows 11 OEM is kind of pricey, but I'm grateful you can get these keys for a much lower cost

A good friend got a cold call from someone pretending to be from Microsoft. She was suspect and called me, but they had already gotten into her computer and even her banking info. She had to go to her bank and cancel her debit crd and the whole thing was a big mess for her. Thanks for advising the less informed. These hackers are getting more efficient with their scams everyday, so we have to stay alert and informed.

🙂 Brit, its rarely mentioned on utube but sometimes cdkeys and key shops have access to Keys for games that have become delisted due to a variety of legal reasons. So sometimes the only way to get a key for a game you must have is thru a keyshop.

I recently became a penguin convert (Linux), but used Windows ever since MS-DOS era. Surprisingly many Windows users believe that Microsoft can somehow monitor every single one of millions (or maybe a billion or so) computers running Windows to know there is malware or viruses on there. "Microsoft called me and said so." I try to explain the impossibility of Microsoft being able to physically watch every computer that closely (even Microsoft on their best day cannot possibly do that level of spying) I advise them to either not answers these phone calls, or hang up. A second option, tell them "Yes I run Windows. My version is MS-DOS (or Windows 95)", observe their reaction for entertainment purposes, then hang up.

Virus protections are scams in general and people take advantage of that. But the Windows are actually not scams and they work out great!

yes, do it yearly, also make regular backups to local hard drives that you can use as backups, then disconnect them and hide them somewhere in the house, dont tell anybody, keep your business to urself, shhhhhhh.

🙂 For the Guys, you also have to be careful of catfish girlfriend dating scams, if your a thirsty type of dude that can't be alone you gotta be extra careful, girls will be hitting you up on email or your phone number or thru facebook or wasap or telegram. And it doesnt matter if its Long Distance or somebody Local that you meet in person. Everybody is hurting and is broke rite now so be careful. Everybody is a Hustler out there rite now. And never open the door to a stranger.
