I have been binge watching all of your videos. I have owned several boats ranging from a 17 foot Bayliner to a 34 foot Rinker. After 28 years and the Automotive retail business I am now considering a job in boat sales and these videos have been a lot of help. Thank you for taking the time to make them. All the best!

40mph on the water is just fine for me and my family. Wake boats rule.

Con: they annoy everyone on small lakes with the huge wakes they put out. I literally just won’t go out during the afternoon On weekends cause of the waves, and I have a 22 foot bayliner so it’s not even that I’m just running a jon boat, it just really scrambled up the small lake I live on

Scrap your junk bayliner and might be able to handle waves better 🤷🏻♂️😂

Already did, got a donzi hornet instead lol, still pretty choppy out there from Karen on the Malibu, even with a better hull

Well…Barb on an IO towing a tube is way more annoying than a wake boat.

Why don’t you sell the Chaparral surf models. They don’t have the downsides you mentioned.

Outboard and inboard people might disagree and that is ok! :-) Isn't it great that there are different types for different applications.

jshoop30 Let me know how wake-surfing a traditional stern drive goes for you.

Finally an honest video about tow boats. Everything I've seen is super biased and slanted towards these boats. I also like the fact that you stated upfront that there is not a perfect boat. I have a stern drive that I've owned for 25 years. I wouldn't trade it for any other type of boat. I just repowered to a super charged 454 with a bravo one drive with a nose cone. I get my speed fix and it still can pull skiers, wakeboarders, and tubes. If I had to choose a different style of boat than I have I would probably go with a deck boat. Thanks for the video and honesty.

@@colinkaul8324 depends on what you are using them for. I have a 21' closed bow Carrera with a supercharged 454 putting out 600+ hp at the crank. I like being able to cruise at 50 mph at about 3200 rpm. Don't sound like being a loser to me. The losers are the idiots that have more money than sense that run their skurf boats along the shore line and screw up the lake for everyone else rather than heading to the middle of the lake and doing their thing.
