Yes, definitely. This is to make sure na everything stated in your documentation matches what is really in the software. Madalas mga 'why' questions ang ibinibigay nila. Why did you choose this kind of system to develop? Why did you choose this methodology in your software development, mga ganun.

By "pre-defense", you mean "mock defense"? Yes. Usually dapat nasa 95% complete na ang system niyo no'n. Ginagawa lang ang mock defense para prepared kayo sa mga sasabihin ninyo sa Final Defense

try ko na lang iyan gawan ng vid some other time. but to give you a quick idea, iche-check nila mostly kung kilala niyo ba ang client ninyo, kung alam niyo ba ang mga objectives ninyo, kung anong technology or language ang gagamitin ninyo, etc.

yup, there's a possibility, and the panel knows that too. just like in books and movies, there's a chance na may pagkakaparehas but that doesn't mean na kinopya. make an effort na lang to highlight the differences between your project and other people's project. and since iba-iba naman kayo ng client at iba-iba rin naman ang needs ng nawat client, talagang magkakaroon pa rin naman ng difference ang gawa ninyo sa gawa ng iba. so don't worry about it too much
