Just received my deadly refusal letter for French Visa, I was applied for France Visa to attend the EUSPICO 2024 conference in which our paper got accepted and I was invited to present it at Lyon, but my visa got rejected despite very strong Personal email from the Director of the conference plus invitation letter as well as approved grant travel for the conference. Rejection points which were mentioned on the refusal letter are: 10, 12 and 13. However, I did one mistake that I did not provide the flight ticket which I thought that when I get visa, I will book it then. I guess that was the main reason of my refusal.

Hi First check in which country you spending maximum number is days. If number of days are same then only select first entry point. In your case if you spending same number of days in Spain France and Italy for example. Then select France. If you spending same number of days in Spain and Portugal. Select Spain and not France for this 5 hours of layover

Hi Amit ji. I am in the UK right now and my wife will be joining me here by Jan 2024. She has just applied for her Indian passport renewal and is not working since 2018. I see that you mentioned stuff about Embassies looking into your work related documents and leave granted from company, etc. In her case if she's been a home maker since 2018, just the bank statement is enough? Also, if lets say we show 20 lacs in the account, is to be kept locked in the account for some defined time period prior to application? Sorry to be asking so many questions...

If you are inviting her then you can mention all these details in cover letter of her being a homemaker and not employed anywhere. Such high amount is not required in account since she's not working. 2-4 lacs are enogh
