I do not know for how many days you had applied. Your application must mention the total stay as the couple of days before the marriage and couple of days after the marriage or maximum upto the week after marriage citing the reason to support post marriage rituals or vice versa for the pre-marriage date, this will help to make the visa officer to understand that you are visiting only to attain the marriage & not going to settle. Also you need to support strong backup data that shows that you are going to return back to your original country. Also if you had not shown any other country in your travel plan. If you had mentioned only Finland and stay at or near to your relative home, there is no reason why the visa officer would reject your application 😀 Best luck and have a nice stay in Finnish land to enjoy the marriage, when are you visiting there?

Do not apply through Norway. Their rejection rate is very high (along with most other Nordic countries). They took 2.5 months to process our tourist visa application - no additional documents requested either. We have been to Schengen multiple times before, never had as bad an experience as we did with the Norwegian Embassy.

You need to notify Home office about your lost BRP and maybe pay fees to get it back. They asked for my BRP and share code last week.
