Hi I'm not sure if you are still available to answer my doubts. In this video on CS amplifiers- diode connected load you cancelled Id1 and Id2 assuming no load condition. But that won't be true if you have a load right? No amplifier is of use on no load condition is what I understand could you please address the doubt.

What if the bulk of the transistor on the top is connected to ground?

when M1 is off did you take Vout as the Vgs of M2 or Vds of M2 ?. If you took Vout as Vgs of M2 then i agree Vth is spent but if Vout is taken as Vds of M2 the how is Vout VDD- Vth as threshold voltage would be spent at the gate and not in the drain source channel.

for M2,gate & drain are shorted,so Vgd=0.
